Location: In the wider Kissamos area, quite near to the town of Kastelli where all types of amenities are available from a number of banks, Medical Center, shopping, sandy beaches and popular sea front restaurants-tavernas. Famous beaches such as that in Elafonissi or in Falaserna are also easily accessible. Access to the specific property is offered by a road formatted with cement. It is also in walking distance from local traditional tavernas.
Views: The plot itself surrounds the house with its variety of trees offering a feeling of natural tranquility and balance with the surrounding environment. Further away green mountain sides can be seen as well as a distant sea view from some parts of the verandas.
Size: It is a comfortable property of 120 m2 (internally) on a plot of approximately 1500 m2.
Architecture: The house was probably constructed more than a century ago but was fully renovated in 1996. Most of its walls are made from solid stone and are more than 50 cm thick offering excellent insulation. The owner has chosen to apply rendering on all walls, externally and internally. As a result by first glance the property looks like it was constructed with conventional material. It also has quite high ceilings.
Internal layout: The kitchen is found in a separate room and is quite spacious. The living and dining area is over 50 m2 so part of it could be separated in order to form a 3rd bedroom. At the moment there are 2 bedrooms and a main bathroom. In the living area a custom made fire place with stone façade has been placed.
Features: All exterior panels are from white aluminium with double glazed glass and roller type shutters. In the majority of the doors and windows, fly screens have been installed. Central heating has been already installed as well as a double solar panel with a brand new boiler. All existing furniture and electrical appliances are included in the price. All tiles are A' quality, while in 2007 the house was re painted externally and internally.
Landscaping: There are wide verandas all around the house offering pleasant views to the mountain and the garden. A high quality tiled roof pergola covers a large part of the verandas. Under a part of the pergola there is pre defined space for parking at least 2 cars. The plot has a number of trees such as olive and apricot trees while the soil is extremely fertile.
