◙           Location: This property is located in Apokoronas area, situated between the cities of Chania and Rethymno. Banks, grocery stores, sandy beaches and tavernas are easily accessible within 2 minutes drive. Chania city with its international airport and busy night life is a mere 25 minutes drive.  

◙           Size and Architecture: This property is 180 m2 on a plot of 400 m2 with a remaining building allowance of 100m2. The buildings on this plot have constructed more than 1 century ago but have been fully renovated creating a spacious two storey stone property with a tiled roof and a separate guest house. All traditional features have been maintained and enriched making this property truly unique.

◙           Internal Layout:  An arch doorway leads to a hall with storage space on the left.  A stone arch opens into a lounge and dining room with a corner fire place. Next to the fire place a double arched French door offers access to the large inner courtyard. 3 stone steps go up to an office area with access to a shower room and to the yard. On the other side 3 stone steps go down to where the kitchen is found under an arch. From this level an arched door leads to the double bedroom. The stone and wood staircase takes you to the 1^st floor where the space is currently used as a lounge room but it could be separated to create another bedroom. There is access to veranda which houses the exterior hydro massage mini pool. On this level there is a large bathroom with a shower area and access via a stone staircase to the inner court yard. From the court yard access is offered to the 3^rd bathroom which is located right next to the guest house which is composed of a large studio apartment with a roof terrace. 

◙           Features:  The ground floor area of the main residence and of the guest house are covered with stone slabs. All bathrooms are tiled with first quality tiles. First floors are from solid wood as well as all ceilings. Kitchen cupboards have been fitted with a traditional solid marble sink area. There is a traditional open fire place on the ground floor which offers heat also to the 1^st floor via an internal metallic chimney. All external windows and doors are from solid wood. A portable hydro massage mini pool has been placed on the 1^st floor veranda. Wooden open slats pergolas have been constructed over each veranda.

◙           External Areas:  The plot is really enclosed in the inner courtyard. This is in co ordination to the traditional character of this property and has been maintained with features such as an old stone sink and steps up to a raised terrace with a stone table and bench seating.  Here there are olive and lemon trees with jasmine and hibiscus bushes.  Steps lead up to a raised terrace with a wooden pergola and a wooden railing from which one has a wonderful view over the village to the mountains.
